In my third blog post for Art & Feminism, I am exploring feminist artists with in America who I think deserve to be celebrated.

Following on from my first blog post in the new series Art & Feminism, I continue the discussion about female artists and their representation throughout history. I introduce influential people such as Judy Chicago, Peggy Guggenheim and the Guerilla Girls.

I just won’t ever agree with exclusion and I think there is no argument that can support feminism and exclusion being two of the same.

For me, I am both introverted and extroverted. I found a weird solace in my own company. By loosening up expectations I feel that the “eternal struggle” lessens, it makes way for nonchalance. I feel at peace.

Please don’t be mistaken I do not live in a fairytale world. There is always a gloomy and despairing side to everything. 

It is very important that we collectively try to stay positive and healthy during this event. This is why I wanted to share some of my artworks and put them up for free! These prints are for personal use only and are not to be used for commercial use.

In this blog, I will be discussing the festivals where you bring out your knowledge of camping and live with your body odor (and everyone at the festivals) for a matter of three to five days. Last year, before I went to my first festival (Yonder) as a visual artist I looked up on Google three things that I thought could help me prepare for the experience. These were “What to bring to a festival as an artist”, “How to survive a festival as an artist” and “Visual artist festival survival” and to my demise there really wasn’t much information about how to prepare for and what to bring to a festival as a performing visual artist.

I had recently made a blog post in the past that outlined how to promote your art on Instagram. I want to add some more extra points on how to influence likes and comments on Instagram because the algorithm has changed drastically.

With Valentine's Day coming up soon, I wanted to post something a bit lighthearted. These are my top reasons for dating a female artist.

I must admit that this idea was not mine, I got the idea from Metty The Artist's Volume 1 Zine. I have used a few of these helplines throughout my time as a young adult and I found many benefits of them. I wanted to pass this information on as I feel it is important and beneficial.
