Collection of personal information

It is intended that this Website can be used anonymously. However, for some functions, the collection of personal information is necessary or unavoidable.

Examples of where it may be necessary or unavoidable for Madbutt to collect your personal information via this Website may include when you or another person:

  • respond to an online survey which we may conduct on this Website
  • provide any message or comment to us on this Website

We will only use personal information provided for the purposes for which it was collected, or for a secondary purpose where we are permitted to do so under the Privacy and Data Protection Act, 2014.

We may disclose personal information to third parties engaged to carry out services on behalf of Madbutt, to third parties involved in any restructuring of Madbutt as a company, and if required by law.

Madbutt has procedures in place to detect and manage privacy and data breaches. If you suspect information supplied to Madbutt has been breached, please contact us. We will work with our IT Department to manage the breach.

If a possible breach has occurred with data collected by a contracted third party as part of work funded by Madbutt. it is recommended you first consult with the third party directly, however please contact us using the contact details below if you need further support.
